2025/26 David Moyes

We can call it legitimately NOW a progression and improvement on what's gone on the last few seasons. I have no problem with that statement.

But you can only say when all results are in and our destiny is known if this season is successful or an achievement.

As for Martinez v Moyes: my comparison has always been as much about quality of play as much as tangibles like points and places.

Martinez is vastly superior as a coach to Moyes. There is no doubting that in my mind.
Presume you didn’t tune into S2 of Martinez. Coached a good team to become worse and the football was turgid

I fail to see what you see in Martinez Davek. One good season for us then he failed massively despite having a good side and Lukaku up top. Got Wigan relegated (winning the FA Cup was good sure but systematic of his streaky management ability) And even Steve McClaren and Roberto di Matteo have won cup competitions! And his international record with top sides like Belgium and Portugal has been okay at best and certainly not taking them further than they'd ideally have ambitions to go (its immaterial anyway as international football is totally different to club football as you can see by the likes of Southgate's and Steve Clarke's looking competent at international football but clueless with the day to day stuff at club level)
