I think you underrate our side. We could easily sell Branthwaite, Garner, Dewsbury-Hall and Ndiaye to 'bigger' clubs for big money. Add in England's number 1 too. And obviously before his injury Grealish. Then add in Tarkowski who's a good Premier league centre half and some good younger players and it's a squad that should be looking to qualify for Europe as Moyes himself has acknowledged by telling the players that that's the target

There's nothing been achieved yet in this season. NOTHING.

We have 7 games where we could:

A/ drop out of the top half
B/ remain top half but not qualify for Europe
C/ qualify for Europe

The season will be judged at the end of May when we know where we finished.

It’s embarrassing, isn’t it. That dipstick would’ve been saying “Martinez can still get us top half with a win tonight” (we went on to get battered 3-0 at Sunderland with the emptiest away end I’ve ever been in)

So is every team in the Premier League. What Moyes, Irvine and co have done is take the squad, make the players better and fashion them into a good side.
