I'll take that bet with you mate. If Moyes doesn't want him, he'll be off somewhere.

We are obliged to purchase Rohl so yes he will be.

A loan with an obligation to buy is a binding contract, making it very difficult to cancel once agreed.
You generally cannot get out of it, as it legally binds you to complete the permanent transfer once specific conditions—like games played or league status—are met. Only mutual agreement or strict non-fulfillment of conditional triggers might break it.

If a club fails to pay after the obligation is triggered, it can lead to legal action, as seen in disputes where agreements are enforced by sporting authorities.

Revenue will increase in the next set of accounts with the new stadium etc. but it’s interesting to see where we stood before leaving Goodison - behind Bournemouth, Brighton, Forest, West Ham and not far off half of Aston Villa’s turnover.

It couldn’t be more obvious that we need European football, we need to win a cup and we need more home grown players as we can only compete so far in the market.

villa and newcastle increased prices when they got into champions league

we'd be hitting easily 450 mil if we made champions league in our new stadium

I'm amazed - given that utter 'kin shafting today - this thread hasn't been bumped.

'The Friedkin Group, now firmly in control of the club's financial levers, is citing the ongoing need to "bridge the gap" with Premier League rivals.'
Record revenue isn't enough.
New kit sponsors isn't enough
Stadium Sponsorship isn't enough

So let's get those mugs to pay!

This was the Gas Man five weeks ago:

"We need to be assertive in delivering the financial firepower our football operation requires, while maintaining the cost management and sustainability that long-term success demands.

At the same time, we recognise this must be balanced with ensuring the cost of football remains as affordable as possible for our supporters. That is precisely why we are determined to maximise the use of our stadium throughout the year – creating additional revenue streams that strengthen the Club."
- Andrew Middleton.

So...

1/ How is long term sustainability being helped by hacking away at the Family Sections and raising prices for juniors and young adults?

2/ Have the extra games of football, rugby league and rugby union + stadium tours been a failure in terms of stabilising ticket prices next season?

Should have known when someone from British Gas was coming in that the prices where going to go through the roof.
