It looked like UEFA were coming round then a “ceasefire “ was announced. Since then Israel has continued to slaughter Palestinians ams now bomb Iran and Lebanon.

They are not in Europe.

They defy UEFA regs playing in occupied territories as defined by international law and confirmed by UN.

A minuscule gesture perhaps, but if thousands indicated to the corporate advertisers and the TV networks that they were ignoring all coverage, the message might get home.

The 'democratic' west took umbrage at the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan and boycotted the 1980 Olympics (with some exceptions whose athletes competed as 'Olympians' under the Olympic flag, not an outfit the World Cup).

Now perhaps someone can explain why western democratic states (that have qualified) should attend this event in the summer.

Pressure should really mount on FIFA regarding it's flagship being used by the magas for propaganda purposes.

Also on Uefa to exclude Israel from the Nations Cup.

If I wanted to start an Isreal CA thread I would. This thread is about a match that is fixed for 9 months time and whether that game should take place or not?
It's almost impossible now to separate sport and politics, there is a World Cup in a maga fuelled USA in a few months, should we not talk about that either and what is inevitably going to happen around that world cup?
If you want to offer an opinion on the game taking place then please do, if you want to object to the thread then tag a mod and let your feelings be known to them. If you have some kind if personal objection to the thread then just stay out of it and engage in threads that make you happy.
