Said it for a while we’ll finish 8th-12th and give Moyes a golden handshake at the end of the season, we might scrape a Euro place on away form but either way we’d have a more solid baseline for the next man to come in

See that tonight didn’t dishearten me too much, just confirmed that I thought that this squad isn’t ready for a real Europe push. The players showed character last half hour despite being a man light and that character will be important going forward.

The glass ceiling tonight was very visible. Difference is this time for Moyes he will have the resources to challenge it, and if he comes unstuck it will probably be there. Having Bournemouth’s recruitment would definitely help.

Yep totally agree with that, I quite enjoyed the match, thought we played with a lot of heart but our limitations are exposed. If we somehow scrambled top 10 it would paper over the cracks and that's not what we need.

Nah we played some decent stuff in Silva’s first season to be fair - other than that it’s vile to watch

He put the team more or less what mostWould have wanted a half decent forward and we win that.
The difference in the quality at fullbacks between them and us is shocking( not that we havnt know that for a while).
Thought bringing on Armstrong. On was a bit of an odd one while your chasing a game though.
Some crap players at the club it will take time to fix.
Moyes needs to shift things around, we are so easy to play agaist.

Before the fullbacks, this is on the striker. We had enough clear cut chances to win this easily. Not on moyes this one...he selected the right starting 11, and the changes were OK...we must have the worst strikers in the entire league.

I’d argue Ndiaye and Grealish when he was fit are on the same level and would massively appreciate an overlapping, attack minded full back playing behind them.
