Willing to give Moyes the benefit of the doubt in that he's probably managing Branthwaite's minutes after a long injury, but a right side of O'Brien and Armstrong with Patterson and Dibling/George available leaves a lot to be desired.

Hopefully I'm proven wrong.
I’ll get it in now, though, that us winning this game - if that’s what we do - does not constitute him proving us wrong. Just shows what we’re capable of in spite of these horrible selections, not because of them.

Earlier this season Armstrong was viewed as the last choice option behind all our other central midfielders and requiring a loan at Preston.

Now he’s apparently ahead of all our right hand side options including Dibling and George both of whom have played much more PL football than him.

Make it make sense, we were flipping a coin as to whether to send him back on loan to Preston and now he’s our starting right winger.
It's seems like Moyes just wants him in the team, & just doesn't rate the options we have at RAM.
George was never going to start, he doesn't throw signings straight in especially young ones for some reason

Think he's going senile.

Gives it the big'un in press conferences about Dibling needing to be more direct, take people on commit defenders and score/assist more then goes and picks a right side of O'brien and Armstrong.

2 players who are out of position, don't commit defenders, don't take defenders on and aren't known for scoring or assisting.

Just be honest Moyesy, you want a physical work horse group of players. Been the same way for years, always wanted Neville or Heitinga in midfield, preferrred Lescott to Baines at LB, had no interest in Coleman over Neville or Hibbo.

As mad as it is, I think perhaps Moyes doesn't want to be throught JB straight back in the deep end. He's not long come back from a lengthy injury.
Then why did he start him in a position that requires more running, less time removed from his injury, last week?

Agree. The Branthwaite selection is understandable. The others not so much .

I guess we'll see, if O'Brien and Armstrong really lock down the right side then Moyes will be vindicated I suppose but got a feeling we are just going to be lopsided and unbalanced.
