Looks like another overly cautious line up again, but let's see if they've learned anything different from last weeks dreadful 1st half showing.
We’ll probably start the first 5 or 10 mins well, and then revert to the inevitable pattern of wasteful punts up the pitch with the ball coming straight back at us. With a team selection like that we’re not getting more than 1 goal.

We’re always starting with a negative mindset. Why not make the opposition worry about how we can hurt them?

The KDH I get kind of because I actually don’t think he plays as a ten, I think we play with a flat 3 in midfield… but Gana just imbalances that to the point where KDH effectively has to play more like a ten.

With KDH & Garner they look fantastic.

Throw in Gana and KDH more advanced and I think we look worse than with the 2. I dont know what Gana is meant to be doing and KDH is invisible apart from the odd shot.

It’s the cycle I’m done with now:

Starts crap team
Plays crap
Brings on better players/players in natural positions
Plays better/gets a result
Learns nothing
Starts crap team
That's the real issue for me, we've been forced into so many different line ups this year and you learn stuff along the way about how to best balance these players.

This 11 is where moyes ends up every time when everyone is available. Armstrong in for grealish is the only change, and that's a negative change when you have two wide players on the bench. It's piss poor imo.

I think is clear that he has a set best XI in his head and isn’t going to budge from it. Bizarrely this seems to include Michael Keane come hell or high water, 36 year old Gana who is going to beground into dust by the seasons end, and Harrison Armstrong as apparently our best available right winger. O’Brien at right back is an absolute lock in because he seems intent on getting as much height on the pitch as possible, and to be quite honest it wouldn’t at all surprise me if we went into next season with O’Brien as our first choice right back again as the chances of us finding a 6’2”+ natural right back with Premier League experience seem slim.

I’m puzzled, I’ve got to be honest with you.
