….don’t let the truth spoil the narrative 😄

It’s agreed that Moyes now signs off transfers, in the summer he brought in Dibling, Rohl, Aznou and Barry. Seems he’s overseeing a transfer strategy of young players with potential. Now looks like another 19yo is about to join, Tyrique George.

No manager in our history has given more teenagers their PL debut than Moyes. From a national perspective, look at the youngest ever PL goalscorers and Moyes managed 2 of the top 5, at least 3 in top 20. A record to be proud of. Now ask these young players about their development and improvement under Moyes;

Where they really all Moyes?

If they were, it still works out about 0.3 per season he’s been here..

;)

Time will tell if we get him, and if so, actually play him. But if the Transfer Committee have moved due to Grealish’s injury and see him as more then a sub, maybe they are beginning to act in a proactive way.

If he’s just been brought in as cover behind Illy, McNeil and Dibling then meh.
Must admit, as he’s not played much, will be new to the team, and is young, I’ll be pleasantly surprised if we see him before April…..
Doesn’t look like Aznou will get a sniff in a more advanced role either if he comes.

Go look at how they backed Mourinho in his time there.

Spent decent in his first summer then after that it was sell, sell, sell. With hardly any reinvestment and leaving Mourinho basically relying on frees and loans...sound familiar?
You're summarising a future that hasn't arrived yet, wait and see before opinions can be thrown out that we don't know.

It's a negative outlook without any backing, other than what you're looking at from a manager like Mourinho.
A man who is always bigger than the club..
