Rohl looking very decent, much improved in possession and we’re competitive in midfield. Unsurprisingly we look defensively vulnerable on our right, McNeil also tasked with coming inside to pick up their no10 playing between the lines.

I fear we’re just one pass away from Villa scoring so we’ll need a goal in this 2nd half to have a chance of getting something.

They have had just as much success getting into the box and getting chances down our left.

Never been closer to giving up watching based on these constant decisions going against us.

Not in a million years can i see how thats not been given on a VAR check, he doesn't prevent the player jumping, he doesn't touch the ball, he doesn't influence the play, he doesn't block the keeper.

Genuinely what's the point.

Really is ruining the game. If it can't be applied consistently might aswell just scrap it and leave the RNG to onfield refs and linesman. Pathetic decisions time and time again
