Yep agree, pointless giving him any money. Get rid in the summer and give the funds to a new manager
but you want a RB?

He will be back there in a fortnight anyway to help them get to the playoffsNot so, Joey has a special hiding place up in the gantry at Preston`s ground, where he digs in like a special forces sniper, so he can keep tabs on his beloved Harrison.
Moyes is in control, from the Bobble. Who knows more than most including youThat's not my understanding.
That sounds like Kinnear leaking nonsense to protect himself. It's what inept people do.
he wanted the people Doing the deals to get them over the line quicker , but Everton wasn’t an easy sell I suppose, that’s why players turned us down but he wanted Dibling and was happy with Barry. I also think a lot of people came to the club late, most clubs are working 12 months in advance on transfers, so we were already behind the 8 ball. Can't believe we are still having this Moyes recruitment argument.
No one ultimately knows who was in charge unless they work for the club. But it remains my personal opinion, that it makes no sense for Moyes to have solely in charge for 2 main reasons
1. He was incensed at our lack of business just before the season started. Why would he be so openly critical of recruitment in the press if it was all his own fault. Who criticises themselves in the press?
2. He has barely used and clearly doesn't rate some of the new players. Who on earth signs players they don't want to use and / or think are rubbish.
Our recruitment processes have been failing for years. Everyone involved needs to be replaced and experts who can identify talented Everton level players need to come in.
Need a 'next step' manager so for me its Pochettino. Good at bringing through young players and did very well with Southampton and Spurs.
Get him in with the remit to build a top 6 side within 3 seasons.
This is insane thinking.
Absolutely madness.
He is a CEO.
Moyes has ALWAYS been in charge of recruitment EVERYWHERE.
To think otherwise is baffling.
100%. Its clear as day.

Absolutely deluding yourself. What are we offering him apart from a nice, new stadium?

If I was the club I wouldn’t spend a penny now, no point, get your strategy in place the players you want in the summer and the mananger/coach you want in charge. I think because of the changes late last season and 2 of the recruitment team on gardening leave till September, they get a pass from me, but this summer that have to show they’re up to the job
Yeah well you're wrong. I was told about this ages before Kinnear was appointed. Moyes was the driving force behind getting rid of DOF role. He also demanded James Smith be appointed.
“ we need a RB”
“our full backs are crap”
get a “RB”
“i woudnt give him a penny”
LOL

Huge resources through ongoing revenue generation.
One of the highest paid jobs in world football.
Everton is one of the biggest clubs in the premier league. Wonderful infrastructure and backing with the new owners.
Its delusional to think we wouldnt be able to pick and choose a number of top managers.
Villa got Emery. We got Ancelotti.
Bournemouth and Palace wouldnt keep their managers if we moved for them.
Pochettino if he still has the desire would be interested of that i have no doubt.
Stop putting down the club by aligning us with the current manager.
