McNeil needs to be sold. He’s far too slow his passing and crosses are crap only good thing is he has a good shot on him. We could do far better
Between injuries, Afcon and plugging other gaps in the frontline we've not got other options mate. McNeil isn't a bad player but once Afcon is over and the injuries improve I doubt he'll be starting. Might not even be an Everton player in 3/4 weeksOnly at Everton could we buy Grealish Ndiaye Dewsbury Hall Dibling Alcaraz and we still have Dwight McNeil starting games as a sole number 10.
He’s still used by Moyes in a small squad. He’s not going anywhere. If the right offer comes in, I’m sure he’ll he sold.

In the case of Keane giving him that extension in the summer was possibly one of our best bits of business. Always liked the lad personally, esp since the Ancelotti days but he's proved his worth to the doubters this season and that's a very tough job considering coming from a position of backup to world class Branthwaite. A goal for McNeil in the next week or two and the whole conversation changes - he's got us out of tough spots at the bottom of the table, a goal or two this season could get us into Europe.Yeah I know how we ended up here but it’s just classic Everton.
It’s like when Lampard was fed up of Keane and bought in Tarkwoski and Coady so we had Mina Tarkwoski Coady Godfrey and Holgate all ahead of Keane and within one half of football v Chelsea, Mina pulls a hamstring, Godfrey breaks his leg, Holgate rolls an ankle, and before you know it sixth choice Michael Keane is trotting back onto the pitch.
There’s always some absolutely unlikely way of circumstances which keep happening to ensure these rubbish players keep getting significant game time.
Wouldn’t be so sure with moyesHis lack of pace totally left Garner and Tim exposed and they got completely overrun.
Armstrong will start ahead of him midweek.
we have one of them in AlcarazControversial one but I don't think we'll get a better bench player than McNeil. Still young, knows where the net is and can play a few positions. If we sell him we'd arguably need another flexible attacking player, or two players coming in. Even then whoever comes in is unlikely to be a starter unless they're dynamite.
They’d knock him back, the glue from him wouldn’t stick.Glue factory
