Giles Barnes
Micheal Kightley

and shoot me Stuart Downing (massive fan)!

I expect at least one of those at the club next season, but i also think we are going to pull of somw blue chip signings in the summer, all this hype over transfer udgets the board know what they have to do and they will do it! No honestly Neiler I believe you're right, one or two of those players will be a Goodison next season. But IMO Moyes will also purchase Piennar and Fernandes, which will amount to some £10 m. being used on those two. So he really will probrably only have £10-15 m. to spend on players who are not in the numbers at present.

we've been linked with joe ledley for a while, now he's making a name for himself in the f.a. cup i can see moyes showing interest however a team like villa or p'mouth will sign him by paying the overpriced valuation...similarly brian howard but his heroics in the f.a. cup came much earlier and will be in the back of everyoness minds now..

them two and a top class central midfielder with the money we're going to get from the arteta sale.

i think that moyes will be targeting justin hoyte for right back, he doesn't get manny chances at Arsenal, wonder if he would be willing to leave???

We really need more backup for midfield and maybe a young RB. I think we need to look at the relegated clubs first and try to get their quality players. I'd like to get Dempsey from Fulham. He's a good player and has heart. And from Bolton I wouldn't mind picking up Diouf and maybe McCann. Besides those I'd go with Michael Bradley, Jermaine Jenas, Kallstorm, and Ledley.

Threre is a reason why Hoyte hasn't gotten many chances at Arsenal. When he's come in he's been the worst player on the pitch.

McGeady is rumored to want to leave Celtic. Barcodes and Sunderland are interested. I wouldn't complain. I wonder how much he'd be worth (prob more than Hutton I'm guessing).

Not sure on Bradley because I know bugger all about the man. But I would be against signing that horrible little [Poor language removed], Diouf. Jenas, Kallstorm and Ledley all sound okay. I still think Moyes is interested in Downing. It wouldn't surprise me if he went for another striker as well. Owen springs to mind, who seems to be finding form and has only a year or so left on his contract. That might clear the way for the release of AJ or Victor.

I know we've been linked with Downing and I have done a bit of a U turn with him- I watched him against those pesky Mancs the other day and he was superb. Could bring balance to the side on that left hand side and if we can get him for around the £5m mark I say take him.

He signed a new 5 year contract a month or so ago. So I would expect Boro to want quite a bit more than that. But i also rate him quite highly at the moment. Paying a premium for a player with the right type of attitude, experience in the premier league and youth on his side is sometimes worth it. It really all depends on how much Moyes has to spend. I would guess he would have in the region of £20 million, which would amount to 3 quality players.
