Can be registered for 3 but only play for 2. So as he has been unused at Villa, could still play for someone else.
It’s why Armstrong would have to go back to Preston from us if we were to loan him back out.

He has definitely played for Villa, just not the requisite number of games to trigger the buy clause. I’d have thought his only chance of footy for the rest of the season would be with Liverpool.

I was just basing off the comment in the tweet that said he was unused.
But yeah, he has played 3 times for them. And then apparently just got entirely dropped from the squad.
Liverpool have screwed him over as well by giving him 1 minute in a game before he went on loan.

When he came on for Villa I thought he looked much smaller.

I say we take him on as payback for Rush, Fowler, Owen, Mcmanorwoman, Gerrard etc and I'd say Carragher but he was no loss.*
