2025/26 Jack Grealish

“Jack Grealish and Kyle Walker have time off from the clubs they are signed to and did not breach any rules while out.”

People saying he’s still hungover when this night out was 6 days ago, and even by media accounts, there are no reports that he was in any way ‘smashed’. He reported for training as well.

He’s picked up a cold and Moyes has decided to rest him. We’ve a busy run of fixtures so it makes sense.
Maybe moyes thought we need him more for forest than Burnley!

Prob expected more from McNeil…christ knows why

Need him back for the Forest and Brentford games then I'd rest him again for the Wolves game before bringing him back for the cup game.

He's got to be used so we get the maximum quality for us. Sitting out two games where we really should be pulverising the opposition (Burnley and Wolves) is just common sense.

We did not pulverise Burnley so I don't get your post ?

We needed points v a struggling club & only got one with no goals again having to play Dwight who was just a passenger on the wing ?

I didn't say we did I said we should be.

If you were intent on resting up Grealish Burnley and Wolves were the two to rest him up in. The fact we didn't pulverise Burnley as we should have done with a better game plan is hardly here nor there.

Not sure what to think really.

If the stories are true about a pre Christmas blow out, then you would make sure you were fit and ready to play next game.

To cry off doesn’t look good. Especially at a time your team are short thru AFCON and injuries.

Some say lack of professionalism is what effectively ended his career under Pep.
Its OK posters laughing it off - the fact is he was unavailable & Pep never dropped him continually for nothing - If he had an illness fair enough .....

He and Foden were caught, not once but twice at night clubs, both were binned off last season as a result.

Pep is crazy strict, weight, diet, tactics, footage etc.

He also didn’t think Jack could do it every three days anymore. Once a week sure.

Not saying Jack wasn’t sick or anything at the weekend or that he doesn’t give it all. But there are reasons he’s here and not at City anymore.

In truth , he enjoys a drink in his time off, it’s allowed - he won’t be crucified for it the way he was at City, we’ll be more accommodating because of his talent.

Easier to pick up illness after a few drinks out in populated places either way.

So even if he didn't get "smashed" or wasn't "hungover". Most likely being out for a few bevvies surrounded by people in middle of winter has made him pick up something easier.

Anyway, let's hope he's good for Tuesday.

Harry Catterick fined the players one minute late for training at 10 am - he instructed the pen to be removed by 10 am & a pencil put in its place :D -

James Garner stated before Christmas Grealish was tuning up late most days for training & one of DMs blue eyed boys .....:D
