That was really weird, I assume there's a club option for another year? I think you're probably right, though, I fear Charlie is going to end up being one of those nomadic players. It's a shame, because I think there is a player in there, but some of his decision making on the pitch is bizarre and if he doesn't sort it out then he won't stay anywhere too long.

I think he's just bang average unfortunately. And most of it boils down to his decision making being poor. A no10 needs to be making the right pass and releasing the ball quicker more often than not

Why? he was miles worse than him today.

The fun thing is you can be McNeil and try nothing and therefore fail at nothing and that’s better than being the guy who actually attempts to have an impact and fails. The club is broken still.

Think everyone blew it today apart from Garner. I think we could honestly criticise every player today quite easily. Not one of them showed anything apart from Garner

We were missing 4 of our very best players, so not surprising

They were both poor today but, for me, the difference was that Alcaraz had a header on goal and the overhead kick, I couldn't tell you one thing McNeil did. Not one. Granted Alcaraz gave the ball away more than McNeil too. Neither exactly grabbed their chances in the first team.

….so many promising situations came to a stop when he was in possession.

Maybe those who clamour daily for his inclusion, bamboozling posts about no10s and No6s will realise he wont be a starter in this team when everybody is fit.

I’d like us to try coaching the team properly for once in my life is all. I see an entire team of players that don’t know what they’re meant to do with the ball. Again. For like the 6th manager in a row.

McNeil did well in the build up to the Beto backheeled chance. (Think he backheeled a pass himself? May have been a deflection though, I was dozing off after about 40 minutes...).

Lets face it, other than the centre backs and goalie who are usually good and maybe Iroegbunam who seemed to intercept everything today nobody else did much of note.
