That embarrassment might score or provide an assist.
You’ve seen Dibling— up to now— that’s why he could be worse!

This doesn’t mean anything. Dibling “might” score or provide an assist, he’s looked about as likely as McNeil has to do that.

McNeil has no future at this club and Dibling is a player we invested £35m into so he should be playing.

Vicar's and omens.

Let's hope this doesn't come back to haunt us.

I liked your first line.
McNeil might have no future with Everton but I’m still waiting, but haven’t given up, to see why we invested so much in a player that no other club seemed interested in.

We are down some key players ..
So are they.
Think people are putting a little too much into the Arsenal result.
Up to that we had been playing well and our away form is solid.
We should be winning this although it wont be pretty. 1/2 nil for me
I don't even think we were that bad against arsenal other than the lack of a attacking threat, people just expected us to give a game to a title contending side when our two best attacking options are out? I concur, playing against Burnley is a completely different scenario, this is a game we should win

We lost to Arsenal from a stupid penalty and could have had one ourselves. They had about 4 more gears if they’d needed, but for me it was a case of being beaten and totally controlled by a much better team.

If happy to say beaten by a better team, we should also be willing to say we should batter these today as we are substantially better than them, with more than double their points per game. No excuses at all. Clean sheet, score, control the game. They have to at least try to open up as they are as good as relegated. Score again.

A professional, committed and aggressive performance should be a given for team no longer looking downwards, and will beat them.
