January Transfer Window 2026

Yeah, ive been quite vocal about selling him in the summer once his obligation is triggered. I also believe Moyes will sell Alcaraz, Mykolenko, Keane, Coleman, Patterson, Gana, McNeil, Beto.

This should give the club a PSR benefit and generate a decent amount of fees as well as space in the wage costs.

I suspect that for this to happen though, we would need to move out at least 2 players this January e.g Patterson & McNeil.

There needs to be significant players moved out although I do wonder if Moyes wont give out new contract offers like he did last season for players who shouldnt be extended.

One more big summer of outs and replacements and we could be in a very positive position.
Agree on names for us to progress but that leaves us needing c10 new players again. I think it’ll take 2 summers for this but this all depends upon where we finish, I guess

Zat….who on earth is going to spend money on Seamus? Been brilliant but is now about 80.

Maybe at a stretch Keane but I reckon Gana is gone especially after what has happened this season. We have to move on from some of these guys at some point its just lazy not too.
Agree not saying that will be first 11 players just takes off the pressure of new players. Think both be good options want see us looking for players for the future at cb with tark getting older two maybe armstrong will get a higher level loan maybe prem or in the first team rotated out. Will be good to watch what we do

That's true, but as the two we have are so bad I'd take anyone who could at least trap a ball consistently and link the midfield. I can honestly say that I can see Barry and Beto ending the season with less than five goals between them,if we're lucky. It's like playing games with ten men.
I can't disagree with any of that but Origi isn't the answer.

Strikers from European clubs are gonna cost though, I mean in an ideal world Id like us to be chasing a Pavlidis or someone of that ilk but you are talking big money. We still need to try and create more in certain games, just keep at it, would help with proper full backs of course.

We can create whatever we want but our strikers aren’t finishers. They look so uncomfortable in front of goal. Keane is a centre half and he’s miles more composed in the box.

better strikers make good movements to either attract the ball in good positions or create space for midfielders to move into. Our current 'strikers' are reactive, not proactive as well was being unable to finish
