This. The first series was decent. I did wonder how they would drag another season or two out of it though, gave the second one ago and wish I hadn’t bothered. Completely changes track and I lasted 2 episodes.

If you haven't seen East of Ipswich, written by Michael Palin, it's well worth a watch. It shows in cringing detail the horror of a family holiday in the 1950s at an out of way seaside town. The Scrabble scene is a delight. On BBC 4 tomorrow.
