What atmosphere?
I really don't get this narrative that holding a play card creates an atmosphere.
I guess we froze under the intensity of the tifo?
Play cards, tifos, flags all hold a merit but it does not make an atmosphere it creates a spectacle. A spectacle for the TV and those who can see it in the ground.
None of the above however makes me, or anyone support any different.
The 11 on the pitch perform, show some energy, fight etc, then 99% of the time the crowd will react and get behind the lads.
I'll be demoted to 'ya da' comment, but until its answered how a tifo, flag or play card means I and/or anyone sings etc within the match - then I'll hold my position.
It looks good, it doesnt create an atmosphere.
The players need to be the ones to engage the crowd. A fanfair, pocessionary self-congratulatory look at us, does not make a blind bit of different to the 11 on the pitch.
