Sympathy for Arsenal fans.

I’ve heard people feeling sorry for the Arsenal fans who are being put out for their travel for tonight’s fixture. It was Mikel Arteta who insisted the game was to be moved because of their Carabao cup quarter final game on Tuesday. So if he’s no sympathy for his fans, why should others?
Good point, well made

Hope we batter them

Like you said arteta asked for it … so many blues booked flights and not going now as needed new flights and hotel. Hope we batter them and they go home even more unhappy !

I think what you say is fair enough in that Arsenal fans need to be looking closer to home for someone to blame.

However, as football fans, we can all recognise that we are the last group of “stakeholders” to be thought about let alone consulted.

Arteta asked for the game to be moved and because of the desire to avoid 3pm kick offs, it was going to be put at a ridiculous time somewhere even though everyone has commitments at this time of year.

I think we should be going the opposite way to the current direction and having a minimum of 50% of every teams games have to be 3pm Saturday to make a season ticket worth it, to actually make the 3pm blackout reasons worth it and to allow fans to at least have a decent chance of planning ahead
