New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

In terms of stadium architecture, yes.

How can we leave our history behind like that? Oh yeah: because H*** 'kin D********, Budweiser and the Everton Stadium Management Co. dont want 'the facility' being associated with any one activity or organisation.

Honest to God, it's a good job I dont rule the world otherwise I'd solve that abomination in a non-too-delicate fashion.

Why?

  • Is it insanity for a football fan to want the name of their own club on the inside and outside of their own new stadium rather than being anonymous and dominated by a corporate whore's name?
  • Is it insanity for a football fan to want to see the club's greats who have been cast in bronze taken and placed at the new stadium to emphasise our history?
  • Is it insanity for a football fan who was promised that the stadium would be broadcast to the world as a stadium on 'the banks of the Mersey' and 'the 4th Grace' to be angry when the reality is that the world sees only a stadium with a corporate whores name on it backgrounded by a sewage plant?

Even Arsenal and City's owners saw that it was wrong to carry on down that line and actively worked with fans to turn their new stadia into something less anonymous and more identifiable as their own stadium. Everton's owners /Stadium Management Company are getting hardly any push back on this and they must be pissing themselves laughing the fans so far have reacted passively to it all.

So my youngest really wanted to go to the FA cup game, but by the time I sorted things out to make it happen, I'd missed the slot for buying our season ticket seats. 😞However, I have just managed three together in club view - I want to manage his expectations as these are only the £20 ticket seats, i see it that we are just trying out a different part of the stadium, but should I be expecting more than that in club view? I know he is delighted but I'm not sure it's anything special is it? 💙

You're right on the halfway line, so you'll get a good view. You'll also have your own concourse but I'm not convinced that's anything to shout about. I was in there for the rugby and the queue for beers and the toilets were crazy long and the concourse was packed. The food queues looked short, but I didn't eat anything so I may be wrong.

In all honesty, I can't see much difference between club view and the rest of the place really. In fact, I got a beer easier in genpop than in Club View.

Takes 6hrs to climb the stairs up to club view. I parachuted back down as it was quicker.

Should think so too.

Up to now people have only been let onto the Western Terrace of THEIR OWN stadium after the team buses have gone through.

We cant have proletarians getting anywhere near the pampered PL millionaires.

I notice it didn't mention the capacity set of the chosen few able to get close either.

OR it is a brand new stadium and there are procedures to follow first

Sorry, you were trolling terribly as usual. Carry on
