2025/26 David Moyes

We had no luck at all today.

I don't think we played poorly beyond the defensive mistakes we made on both goals.

We could have drawn that if things went on our way.

I don't think Moyes or the tactics are to blame for too much today. Individual errors from Mykolenko and Gana had a big part in the goals and we created enough to score but couldn't make it happen.

Why was gana starting on the pitch today?

I dunno about anyone else but I’m quite suspicious of someone who runs away for 24 hours after a 3-0 win and then lives on the forum attempting to hound out the manager after a defeat against a £3bn squad.

He`s become as predictable as the British weather, it`s just boring now, not one single person on the forum takes him seriously.

Yawn.

People need to chill. We were sooooooo close to 777 and therefore total oblivion and non-existence twelve months ago.

We are now safe and secure.

Lighten up people. Please. Pretty please.

Just take a step back and look at things in perspective.

Couldn't agree more, the target for this season was always safety first, then consolidate. Anything else is a bonus.

Due to the start and the state of play in the league, Europe might be on, but today showed that this squad is 2 transfer windows away from that.

I only heard updates today as I was in work, but the commentary made it clear we were in that game and on both goals were in the ascendancy.

That's the big difference this season from the previous 4, we're in games win lose or draw.

That's massive progress.

I think we’re one more summer window from consistent top 10 or higher. I know we need a RB. But until we do, Garner has done fine. We don’t have a striker, a reliable finisher. To me, that’s the real missing piece even over RB. Think how many sitters have been missed this season by Beto and Barry. Convert even half of those and we’re much higher up the table. Everton and the fans desperately crave a goal scorer.

2-0 and an okay performance with KDH getting hurt early is honestly a lot better than the 5-0, 6-0 pastings they’ve been taking at Stamford Bridge in recent years.
This Chelsea aren’t all that.

This league ain’t all that.

Performance was ok, agree on KDH getting hurt killed us, but there are legitimate issues with the manager that people are right to challenge.

I’m not saying sack him either, I want him to do even better than he has already, which is good, especially after Dyche.

Moyes doing well means we do well, just think some of today was self inflicted.

Anyway, let’s look forward to another expected loss next week eh?

Wolves are holding their own right now against Arsenal. I don’t think it’s a foregone conclusion we lose. I feel better about our chances because we’re going to be forced to approach our lineup differently. I’m realistic about our chances. But we could come away with something.

Maybe you should offer your services to the club because you clearly know better than fully paid professionals.
