Mykolenko alone isn’t the problem. Some of the blame lies at Jack’s feet. He’s got great ball control and hold up. No argument there. But he tends to stall momentum. The twinkle toes stuff was great at City because that gave time for the likes of KDB, Haaland, Silva, Foden, etc… to be creative. We don’t have that. Jack needs to be goal-minded. We don’t have the same supporting cast that City gave him.
There was a moment second half he was played in, men in the box and he could’ve hit a cross first time

He’s a very good defensive left back which is fine if we’re in relegation battles wanting to scrape points but if we are ever going to challenge at the top end again, we need proper premier league quality full backs like when we had Baines and Coleman

Weve seen today and with the nutmeg & KDH cutback previously that Dibling could have been playing.
Its logical to believe Aznou is also being misused by Moyes.
Im lost with all the "sign a left back" shouts...weve signed one.
Just like we wanted a right winger in the summer, weve signed one.
Just need Moyes to use players instead of always going with experience.

Dyche, too, was very predictable and loyal with his line ups. He buried talent instead of giving them opportunities. I’m not saying Moyes is the same, but he’s trending that way. All I can suppose is it’s based on all he sees that we don’t in training. How can we ever know what we have if they never see the pitch and we never alter our line ups based on who we’re playing?

Sorry, that's a logic fail Zat.
We've seen plenty of Dibling in the PL. We saw Aznou make one appearance against Roma and he looked like a revolving door, spinning around aimlessly.
It's not to say he hasn't and won't improve, but he looked like he had never played LB before. And we know he has, which is troubling in the short term.
We need more of a bombing on LB. Myko is not a bad defender but cannot do much to help in attack. Poor delivery, poor punts but decent enough defender. No attacking sense in him. Same when we play JOB at RB

Ive had a think about this and weve signed a 19 year old who has come through as a top prospect for both Barca & Bayern.
This player was also at the club world cup with Bayern and has 3 caps for Morocco and been in 5 squads.
To top that off he had 1/2 a season in La Liga with super stats.
Just think about that for a moment and then perhaps consider that Aznou seemed to be thrown in cold against Roma.
He was signed on July 29th and we played Roma on August 9th. He also had limited at best preseason.
Is it not possible that Moyes barely using £35-40mil Dibling who has had a season in the premier league is also a possible pattern with not using Aznou?
I think there is. He's been on the bench a number of times this season and not even been given 5mins.
Sorry but he isn't, the stats don't even say he is. He's average defensively and woeful in attack. How he's still first choice after 4 years is beyond me.
