2025/26 Tyler Dibling

….not 100% sure, but I thought you could only loan one player from the same club. Regardless, PNE might not be in a position to cover part of his salary.
If it's just the salary, would hope we'd sort that on our side as a means of helping his development.

That being said, think you're right on the limitation.

Either way, needs some game time somewhere.

…..if he’s struggling to settle, maybe it’s best not giving him more change. Hopefully the club are doing all the right things.

It annoys me to no end that our largest transfer outlay of the window is only seen as a prospect who he won't trust to start a match.
It shows how much transfer fees have changed in the last couple of years...years ago what we paid for him would have meant probably automatic starter. Nowadays this is not the case. We paid for "english" potential and with that, the risk that he may never reach the top of the game. The early signs are mixed really...had a good short spell with the saints in the pl and thats about it (outside of course of his record with the youth teams). Hopefully he gets some playing time soon...I just wonder why not give him some games with the u21s, at least he could then build match fitness. It's a strange one...maybe he doesn't want to, maybe he is not training with the right mentality...

The answer is David Moyes.

Yeah, but in our situation paying for potential was madness.

We needed players for the here and now.
