Very harsh on Alcaraz but I can understand being more defensive away at Chelsea with all their attacking options and I can understand playing Gana seeing as this is the last time we can for a month or so and we are gonna play a lot of games over Christmas so Charley will get his games soon I hope
Let’s be honest. Moyes would’ve done this if we were playing Shrewsbury Town. He’s just an overly stubborn manager even when a good thing is starting him in the face.

We’ll see how this goes and moreso during AFCON.

Well, I have questions, but I'm willing to see how that works out. The only thing I really hope is that the confidence Barry got from that goal changes everything for him

I don't feel an iota of tension. Strange really.

I think we can get a good result against Brighton. If we apply ourselves and keep out that Minteh fella we'll be alright. Can't be losing 2-0 to the Seagulls at our utter McDonalds box of a stadium when the Toffees beat them by the same score at their sparkling new ground back in August. It was bad enough when the same kind of thing happened with Forest recently. Everton absolutely battered them just two weeks after we rolled over for them...

Sorry, I mean... We've got a 21+ tally before xmas for the first time in about five years, and the pressure is off, even though it's been 31 years since our last win at Stamford Bridge. A free hit if you will. UTFT!!!

Lot of comments calling Moyes a coward and saying bad management while we’re two points off the champions league places after 15 played with a team that is absolutely nowhere near that level and easily worse than Spurs, Newcastle, Liverpool and probably others like Brighton who are all below us in the league.

I question whether Moyes is the man to take us on to actually win something after we make more investment but I’m not having that he’s not done a very good job so far this season and a cautious set up away at a ground we’ve not won since 1994 is not going to change that for me.

No need for today’s changes, I guess the good thing is that we know we can survive without Gana. Don’t get me wrong he has been a great player for us overall but we will need to move on considering his age.

It will be Garner alongside Gana with Kdh given more license to get forward.
Alcaraz has done OK. But he also hasn't been brilliant.
Gana goes after today. Always felt he would start away to chelsea

Alcarez allows garner and kdh to play more to their full potential by the positions he takes up his ability to pass and take the ball on the turn.

Something gana lacks imo.

Hopefully we won't be chasing the game before he changes it

He’s not going to be here after this game, so what from perhaps saving the condition of other players, there’s no logic to it. Even if he has a brilliant game there’ll be no continuity for the next game. Alcaraz KDH and Garner should have been allowed to forge partnerships in that midfield over a few games.
