2025/26 David Moyes

I would say it is the United squad, despite it was way over the peak.

Moyes had some great players (& a few not so good ones 😀)at United:-

Key Players Under Moyes (2013-2014 Season)
Forwards: Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie, Javier "Chicharito" Hernández, Danny Welbeck, Adnan Januzaj.
Midfielders: Michael Carrick, Tom Cleverley, Anderson, Ryan Giggs, Marouane Fellaini (Moyes' only signing).
Defenders: Patrice Evra, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidić, Jonny Evans, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Antonio Valencia, Rafael.
Goalkeepers: David de Gea, Anders Lindegaard.

Pretty sure Moyes signed Mata too?

Edit - was in the Jan.

Only 1 point off being out of the top 10 and being an absolute failure Moyesy, sort it out for davek.

It's likely we will be back bottom half of the table after the next couple of games.

We'll be bumping around above and below that line all season, and Moyes better make sure that when the final whistle of the season is sounded we're above that line.

One of his main problems was RVP went back to permacrock status. That signing papered over the cracks in Ferguson’s last year.

Totally agree. Because if we end up 12th instead of 10th we’re drifting back into Martinez territory and no one wants that. Good call.

I thought it was all about the points totals rather than position?

And don’t forgot the phenomenal Bobby got 47 points twice and he is the best manager we have had in decades right? Moyes on to comfortably beat that.

Moyes deserves credit for where we are so far, without strikers firing, without a proper right back and missing our best defender. I do expect us to kick on in the second half of the season though, now that Barry is going to bang them in left right and centre

Question what season in any point of Moyes' career did he have the best squad possible and what was he able to achieve with that team?
He had 3 good teams during his first tenure.

I think but for a once in a life time performance from Seb Frey of Fiorentina, I think we'd have gone on to win the Europa League.

That's just my feeling.

Fine margins again,unfortunately.

Well how many points are we on schedule for after 15 games? 58 points or thereabouts?

What would that be? About 10 points better than our points deducted disrupted season under Dyche?

I'm not sure that'd be a great return after a summer of big spending relative to the spend we've had for the past decade.
