Anderson the only threat from them really and Moyes must be chuffed.

Using his players brilliantly, down to the bare bones and getting big performances. With Gueye available, he now has options going into Chelsea game, he also has the option of Alcaraz or McNeil in CM, both did fine today.

24 points at Christmas is terrific even with 2 difficult games ahead.

To have us up to 5th after a re-build and about £130m spent is some achievement to be fair. He’s done a very good job since he came back. If we can get a few additions in January and add some pace to the squad, no doubt we can get into Europe at the end of the season.

15th with a game in hand at this point last season, 5 points above the drop zone under Dyche to 5th and 1 point off Champions League under the Gaffer. No one could have done better though right?
