2025/26 Michael Vincent Keane

Of course the second he’s finally out the team (he was only back in thanks to a long term injury) two midfielders go and get themselves suspended alongside another one injured, meaning Garner has to play midfield and can no longer play right back, and every other right back at the club is injured meaning OBrien has to play which means this utter clown waddles back in.

You literally can’t get rid of him. We could buy ten centre backs to start a season and he’d still find a way to get back into the 11 by about game four. Sick to death of seeing his gormless stare in an Everton shirt as he lets in another three.
He should stay in the team over Tarkowski anyway

Struggles to get back in the team now.

Think you just need to relax tbh. We won a game, he didn’t play, yet here you are irate and shitposting about him.

Because he’s a terrible player. If this was some young lad who had just moved to the PL then it’d be fair enough to have a bit more patience but he’s been here 8 years and has been awful for the majority of that time.

Yes it annoys me seeing him in the team. Teams are supposed to move on their poor players yet we have kept hold of ours for 8 years. People can say he’s played well this season but we’ve still shipped a load of goals when he’s in the team. As soon as he’s out of the team it’s Tarkwoski’s best game in ages. It’s no surprise.

The future is Branthwaite and OBrien, and centre back cover that guarantees Keane can’t get on the pitch. The easiest way to do that is by replacing him which we should have done in the summer.

I just find it absolutely hilarious that there’s posters writing off Barry or Dibling as not good good enough for the PL based on a handful of games for us yet 8 years Keane is still a sacred cow.

He’s terrible. This team will do nothing whilst he’s playing in it.

And yet, I will say again, we won, he didn't play.

But he most likely will be playing next game, which in my view hugely decreases our chances of winning.

It’s also typical of Everton that if any of Branthwaite Coleman Gana Rohl or Iroegbunam were fit and available he’d be benched but he always seems to have just enough injuries ahead of him to get back into the team.
