2025/26 Tyler Dibling

I think he'll be provided his opportunities soon enough , people keep perceiving the fact that mcneil has been subbed on instead as some indication that Dibling's skills are substandard. For me I believe Moyes think mcneil is better suited for game management than mcneil is better than Dibling. Moyes trust McNeil more due to his experience and a certain profile of player should be utilized for different situations. It's possible that dibling is doing everything needed in training yet moyes being very thorough is being extensive in ensuring he deems Tyler ready

I think I’m officially baffled now. Illy stunk the place out all game, and then even when Moyes decided to take the wrong player off, he replaced him with actual Dwight McNeil. Who was horrible. Again.

And if you want to hypothesise that he might be awful in training or have a crap attitude, fine, but Moyes literally said days ago that he wants to give this lad more minutes, directly before two games in which this lad was given no minutes. Dwight McNeil took his minutes. Dwight McNeil.

Dwight McNeil, guys.
Worth just reminding yourself that we won the game

Yes we ground out a win tonight but we were utter turd. And how bad do we have to be before Dibling gets a kick ?
Really? I thought that was a very good say performance.

They’ve not lost at home yet this season and we’d never won down there.

If we’d have been losing I think Dibling comes in/if we were more comfortable.

He clearly trusts McNeil more to see out a tight game, not a crazy opinion.

…..exactly, it’s not complicated. Moyes sees McNeil as the better option, he’s the one working with these blokes on a daily basis.

Posters want to see the shiny new car but that appears to be having problems so we use the reliable model. Such a pity fans turn on McNeil simply because they want Dibling.

I thought McNeil was fine last night, signs he’s returning to the form that made him one of our better players before his injury. Looking like he’ll be back-up to Ndiaye next month, which is understandable. It should also improve our set-play delivery.

Although in hindsight it seems a bad call as we can’t afford a £40million sub I don’t think we should be panicking. The lad has a lot of time on his side. If we go into New year over 30 points I think we will see more of him and with a little less pressure and more freedom to play football and showcase his talent. He is up against 3 of our best players in Grealish, KDH and Ndiaye so hard is sounds I’m gonna stay patient with this one and see how it develops.
