New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Anyone moaning about our stadium really needs to take a long hard look at most of the others in the Prem, particularly Whams which is truly horrendous for football.
I don't think anyone thinks that our stadium isn't magnificent and an asset to our city. Everything about it is classy, including the red brick that is congruous to the rest of this part of the waterfront.

What some people are frustrated about is the transport links, or lack of them, as well as the Hill Dickinson logo featuring more prominently than our own logo, despite Hill Dickinson paying a relative pittance to the club for said naming rights. The smaller capacity of 53,000 is also frustrating to some, especially when you look at the capacities of the likes of West Ham.

If it really is true that fans of other clubs are not being immediately ejected from the home stands by the stewards at Bramley-Moore, this sort of mindless violence will sadly almost certainly happen at our new home.
You watch how many red shirts will be dotted around the seat unique areas on derby day. I have a feeling it'll be embarrassing.
I can't really judge when I go to the odd away using seat unique, no other way of getting away tickets anymore it's a closed shop. Yes it's not the same in the home hospitality, but usually get a mini burger and pint chucked in...

The club seem to put getting cash in ahead of fan safety. The reason for having an away section and a home section is to avoid having trouble that could end with some innocent by stander getting a trip to hospital.

Lots of tickets for the arsenal game now on resale, if you're disappointed in the ballot
Cheers mate.
I didn't enter the ballot as I thought I would be unable to attend. Then found that I am free after all. Just went on the site and as you say there are quite a few available and I managed to get 2 together, both at concession prices.

My view is that it'll take some time for pockets / areas of more vocal and exuberant support to merge together to rebuild that atmosphere.

Let's not forget, at Goodison the Lower Street end wasn't equal in terms of those supporters, with GT3, 4 and 5 being the pivotal areas.

Even within those, it was often core areas towards the back that instigated the chants and brought the ferocity the Street End was infamous for.

These areas grew over years and years, often with people who were a) comfortable with each other, and b) of a similar mindset in terms of support.

Now, fans have been dispersed between areas of the lower and upper. Where I sit in the upper, it's not even close to what the old upper was often like.

Hopefully, the club can start to facilitate moves or swaps for those who wish to be of a similar ilk. I'm already considering taking my son in the lower.
Fair point.

To be honest, our fans were very much the 12th man against Palace.

My wife, our 11-year-old daughter, and I have tickets for the Wolves game — and the following day we’re going on a stadium tour. We’re hoping to find a hotel that offers parking and is within walking distance of the stadium. Any recommendations would be much appreciated
