Any film can be deemed a Xmas film… If every year a family watches a particular film during the holidays, then to them, that film is a Xmas film.
It doesn’t matter the film, mate… If they have a tradition of watching, say for instance, ‘Schindler’s List’ during the Xmas period, then to them, it’s a Xmas movie, right?

If Die Hard isn’t a Christmas film (it is) then neither is Home Alone.
