Individually
Michael Keane has been decent this season, but as has been proven so many times over the last nine years his erratic presence freaks our whole defence out as makes us vulnerable. O’Brien was excellent tonight and made
Tarkowski and
Mykolenko seem more settled as well.
Balance was somehow better across the pitch tbh. Garner at right back is the best option in that position for now. Same with
KDH deeper and Alcaraz ahead of him.
One thing that is true of this team is it has got a bit of heart about it. Bad games haven’t turned into spirals like they have in recent seasons. Credit to the manager in that regard, and players like
Grealish and
KDH who have improved standards across the board.
