Relegation Thread 25-26


Huge result that. Takes so much pressure off with the league table being as weird as it is and our fixtures being the way they are.

It's funny as it's like a strange league. Like United, Spurs etc feel like tough games, but honestly I'm not sure they're better than say Brighton, Palace, Villa, Bournemouth etc.
 

It's certainly not time to stop thinking about relegation. Plenty of teams have won at Old Trafford over the last few years. However if we can keep the team spirit going it will definitely help. I still think we have a bottom six squad until we get at least 4 more first team players. Attitude is everything with this current squad, but I think we've seen this season that's the case with most teams.

We haven't been a bottom six team for the last two seasons, and this is a better side than we had last year. Despite the narrative around the club in recent times, 2023 was the last time we were genuinely in a relegation battle.

We are a solid midtable side, and will likely finish around where we are now.
