No way was Barry bought with the future in mind. Moyes was starting him in from the 2nd game. The fact our main striker is without a goal in December sums our problems up.

No thr real problem is a lack of pace , in the team and the lack of balls in the box for forwards to attack. Prime Ronaldo would struggle , with our snail like build up play

Whether that is accurate or not who knows, but aside from the fact he might not have even wanted to come here, never in a million years were we going to throw big money at an injury-prone striker in his 30s.
