Barry did not concede 4 goals tonight. He is still the young untested striker Moyes didn't want to use this season who has improved in every match.

So hypothetically speaking if he cost 150k a week and was available 25% of games would you be happy?Cost a fortune? Was free. And all players want a wage. We needed a Prem level striker as we don’t have one.
Richard Wilson has more chance of scoring than BarryNeeded a Callum Wilson type back up option if this guy was crap, which he is.

True up to a point but on your perspective, he should have scored some goals by now,? On the second point.... Oh, sigh .... why waste my Saturday night? XBarry did not concede 4 goals tonight. According to a West Ham fan, Wilson has a £95k appearance bonus in his contract because he's on a relatively low basic wage by Prem standards. Whether that is accurate or not who knows, but aside from the fact he might not have even wanted to come here, never in a million years were we going to throw big money at an injury-prone striker in his 30s.I sincerely doubt he’s on £150k a week and has been available for way more than 25% of games so far, so I don’t understand that point tbh.
