2025/26 Tyler Dibling

The club aren't concerned with his development by all accounts so there's no reason for the usual moaning and negativity on here.
As if we would know if they were pal.

There's a valid reason to be moaning over how we spent that money on a player who has had zero impact here.

I want him to be amazing but he's no use to us if he doesn't play. There's far better uses for that money.

The age thing is a load of nonsense tbh, Bournemouth had an 18 year old playing at CB last season who is now at Real Madrid and now have another up top who has scored goals. If you are good enough, you are old enough. The fact is that money could have been far better spent.
Yes some players are ready to go at 18, but not all. Some develop later. 19 is way too early to judge a player

I get what you're saying, but "he's not ready" for a player with about 40 senior games in the Prem does make it feel a bit like a waste currently - there's the cautious approach and there's whatever we're doing with him currently.

He needs game time, we've had instances to give him game time, and we've used McNeil who's been abysmal instead. I don't think people are judging his ability and calling him a waste, he's a good player; people are judging the fee and money spent for a player who's not playing, whoever it was, which is the waste here.

Yes I did and he’s still 22 and I think it’s still too early to judge him too. I know you’re desperate him for him to fail but it’s not too late for him

….how odd, i’m absolutely desperate for Dibling to succeed, I’ve no doubt he’s different gravy to Chermiti. We just don’t know if there are issues at play here so I just don’t get ‘he needs a run of games’ theory.

Don’t think anybody is writing him off and surely nobody wants the lad to fail but it’s not as simple as continually saying ‘he’s only 19’, he’s played enough at the top level to be old enough and good enough to be more involved than he is. Be good to get an explanation from Moyes.

Don't forget at this point moyes sent barkley out on loan...12 months later he was a priority player under martinez....

Sometimes a player isn't deemed ready by one manager...maybe hes being settled in for the next?

Reminds me of Mourinhos crack about journalists always asking about the players who aren't playing and not the ones who are.

We are getting some wins, Barry, Tim and Alcaraz are getting minutes who are his seniors. It's a little luxury having him on the bench we should be happy about.
