New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Definitely, it certainly isn't being made for "Football First" Approach.

It's going to built as an Arena, football will just fill one of the bases of the whole plan.

Birmingham will become a new NFL base, and the list will just keep growing with the more attraction they can pull in from all walks of life.

They're only trying to do what a lot of clubs (including us) have done..... trying to have a more flexible venue for far greater usage and therefore income. One of the key motives for our move was supposed to be an increased number of events. The difference is that they are actually trying to tick those boxes fully, with a moving pitch and closing roof. However, in football mode, it will be every bit a football stadium.... with what looks like two large single tier end stands, and 3-4 tiered side stands with what appears to be several levels of exclusive corporate/hospitality in their own dedicated tiers. Yes, externally it looks over-the-top pastiche, but IF it is realised (and that might be a big IF), the internal design and flexible functionality are clearly all there.

Seat Unique has got nothing to do with all tickets on the resale site or the ones successful in the ballot deciding they dont want to go anymore.

It doesn't help with fixture changing for tv, for instance I work shifts and you sometimes can't get a holiday in work to go the match, sometimes the holidays for that certain day is already taken. Must be quite a few like me.

I'm one of them. Keep dropping the Monday night games when its my week of lates. I was going the Arsenal game, made plans for the saturday with the family then they changed the game back to the saturday again. I think Wolves and Bournemouth land on my week of lates as well.

I'm lucky where I work, I'm asked for the dates Everton are at home when the rota is being done, & the girls I work with will swop if dates are changed (as they know how much it means to me).
In all of my other jobs I never had to work weekends & night matches were easy too.
Feel sorry for those that are messed around by the changes & as a result can't go.
One of the biggest benefits of retirement :D

Up to now I've been lucky, not to rub it in but it helps to have an Everton season ticket holder as you're manager. Next year I retire mid March an that will definitely help.

Yeah, i totally agree with that. This is the way it's all heading, the more avenues of income out there, they have to grasp at.

It was the "Football First" statement that got me.
Football is just the base setup, that will also be like an advertisement to attract all other possible events/audiences.

Haven’t been to the new stadium yet and wanting to come over for a game from Ireland in the next few months

Just wondering with the club view option do you have access to the Guinness bar with live music, located within the stadium?
