Good utility player and every squad needs one.
Are we not talking to him behind the scenes then ? I don’t believe that for one minuteIt's not that Tarks wasn't important, I just don't think he would leave us if we offered the deal later in the season.
Garner will start questioning his future with us if we aren't speaking to him behind the scene's. Any player would.
He said himself no discussions have started. Are we not talking to him behind the scenes then ? I don’t believe that for one minute
All seems a bit strange. Are we not talking to him behind the scenes then ? I don’t believe that for one minute
This is the lad we signed.
If you knew nothing about the lad and the video popped up in the transfer thread, everyone would be raving.Yep, the sort of solid but unspectacular stuff he's doing that video is exactly what we see him doing for us most weeks, I agree.
If you knew nothing about the lad and the video popped up in the transfer thread, everyone would be raving.
But we do have our differences on the lad, so I'm not going to try and sell you on him.
You don't need to sell him to me, I'm not knocking him at all.If you knew nothing about the lad and the video popped up in the transfer thread, everyone would be raving.

Yeah, i didnt go searching for a wonderful highlight video, I just stuck a clip of one game whilst not in an Everton shirt. You don't need to sell him to me, I'm not knocking him at all.
I opened the video expecting to see him playing numerous defence splitting passes, driving the ball forward, pirouetting his way out of tight spaces, making runs beyond the striker etc because you made it sound like the player in the video was not the player we're seeing. What I actually saw was him making a few tackles, using the ball relatively well and having a good shot from range. I know he can do all that, that's exactly how he plays for us when I watch him live every week. You could put together a very similar video of him playing like that for us in any number of games.
He's a perfectly competent PL midfielder and a very good player to have in your squad, I do not dispute that at all. I don't see anything - either in that video or in real life - that makes me think he's significantly more than that, but there's absolutely no reason why he should be, there's nothing wrong with being what he is.
And they are bottom. He’s played for us for like 2 and a half years, I think people have seen him.
I like him, but some kind of generational talent he is not.
He’s an average Premier league midfielder - which is a compliment to him btw, the standard is very high. The bottom club have 2 Brazilian internationals in midfield and the top clubs have most of the best midfielders on the planet.
I haven't given any adulation to Rohl so i'm not really sure where you're going with this? You posted a video saying 'this is the player we signed'. I assumed that you were attempting to show that there was a side to his game that we hadn't seen in the 3 1/2 years he's been here by showing how he played in a different way before he came. The video actually just showed him playing exactly like he does here, only wearing a Forest shirt instead of an Everton one, so I said as much. Like I said, it wasn't a criticism of either him or you, it's just an observation. For me he's an average PL midfielder who gets extra bonus points for also doing a good job in other positions when asked. That's absolutely not to be sniffed at, it's a very good level and I have no issue with him being an Everton player for the foreseeable future. I'm not sure why you seem to believe I think otherwise.Yeah, i didnt go searching for a wonderful highlight video, I just stuck a clip of one game whilst not in an Everton shirt.
The thing that gets me is where we are at the moment he is a very good player. Where people want to be, always has to be now. Which doesn't happen in any form of reality.
Look at the adulation for Rohl, and what have we seen from him other than he has a foreign name that is also a name of a wizard.
Opinions are now being changed on him due to injury record.
This place goes round in circles of who and what we should have now instead of who we have, we have to build to get to these places, without Europe the appeal isn't their.
We can't attract the wonders of fans expectations without patience.
The response on Rohl wasn't about you, I wouldn't have a clue how you looked at him. He was just an example of a portion of our fanbase.I haven't given any adulation to Rohl so i'm not really sure where you're going with this? You posted a video saying 'this is the player we signed'.
