I think they just believe their agents these days.

The clue anyway was the amount of games he lost last season.

No club with half a clue would touch that lad. Looks decent, but he looked a massive gamble...and Everton are a club that have terrible recent experience of sick notes taking up space in treatment rooms more than they do the pitch.

If I were TFG I'd be seething.

Tbf just having a quick look and whilst he clearly is a bit injury prone, his record is nowhere near as bad as Branthwaites in terms of time out or nature of the injuries sustained.

Yeah I just think Moyes gets a bit lost in numbers and dates at times. December is here in like 10 days.

He was already a huge gamble purely in terms of his quality as a player. Adding in the extra gamble over this fitness was...an interesting choice.

Anyway. Maybe getting ahead of it with this surgery will turn a bit of a corner on that front.

why are we both following EFC I still predict DM will struggle to keep his job after this transfer window results will be vital ....& hard games are coming up- his signings Rhol a croc on loan & no full backs its his fault imo .

Forest will be 26 days after the operation, that would be a very, very quick recovery from a hernia op. I'd guess that Moyes meant more along the lines of 'when Gana goes in December' rather than 'as soon as we get into December'. It's worth remembering the lad hasn't started a game of football for 9 months at this point, I can't imagine that he's going to come straight back from an operation and be ready to go.
