Saw the second half. Yeah - was actually very entertaining! Preston had over 60% possession, twice the shots, twice the amount of touches in the opposition box… and still lost. They’re very direct - lots of long balls, crosses and intensity, so do get in and around the goal a lot, without looking that much like scoring. Harrison is very much an 8 for them - completely different style and role to the one he flourished in at Derby. He gave the ball away once, every other touch was on a different level to anyone else on the pitch. He has so much quality and the composure to show it even in a chaotic full throttle game like tonight’s. He was the only one still trying to move the opposition around and find a passing combination at the end, as opposed to the general lumping it in. He must have covered some serious ground too. I am absolutely utterly convinced that this lad will be a top premier league player.
And, as said, that ref was bloody awful!
