His last match will be the winner of this tournament won’t it? I only dip in and out but he’s only got 2 or 3 dates left?
Same here. Not sure if it's for his last or second last or something? Maybe they'll have some bigger names for the later rounds if it is for his last match.
Don’t really watch it anymore but have been keeping an eye on this given what it is. I would be amazed if a company guy and wrestling nerd like Cena doesn’t put over Gunther in his last match. If you aren’t a complete bell you always use your status in your final match to put over the younger talent and “pass the torch”.
You can always have gimmick matches post retirement where you put a younger wrestler in their place (e.g Stone Cold and Kevin Owen’s) but in your “retirement match” you put over the younger talent.
