2025/26 Seamus Coleman

He could look elsewhere mate, id say there will be a lot of interest in him come the end of the season from Saudi and the States.

Be interesting to see how the club manage it, given how highly esteemed he is amongst the fanbase.

im usually a bit naive on what footballers will do for money but i wou;ld say if any footballer is the least likely to move to saudi given the chance it's Seamus Coleman

he'll stay here to coach most likely and move back to Killybegs once his kids have finished school

More likely to stay here, as all of his kids have been born here and they’ve lived in the same house and area for their whole lives.

And rightly so. He was excellent last night.
He's been excellent for Everton.
He's been praised to the rafters by every manager
but Nymsee thinks hes crap and should have been sold 5 years ago.

He is crap and should have been replaced ages ago. You don't think we should have replaced him in the past 5 years? Interesting.

Are you more pro Ireland than Everton?

Best of both worlds for him really. Kids settled in a wonderful city and Belfast only 30 mins away on a flight (long drive to Killybegs granted) but so easy for him to drop in home anytime he wants- not as if money is an issue.

Well no, because me wanting him replaced when he's been finished for years, is massively pro Everton.

You also, yet again, didn't answer my question.
what, am I pro Ireland or Everton.
Big Ireland fan, used to go to lots of games at the old Landsdowne rd.
Moved to the states about 18 years ago and a combination of Ireland being crap and very little qualifier group coverage meant my interest waned a bit.
I dont think you ever lose your national allegiance but I miss plenty of Ireland games but rarely an Everton one.
I had to google who Conor Coventry was last night.

You on the otherhand have bad mouthed Coleman for years, putting you firmly in the phoenixIreland weird post about coleman camp.
I'd have thought it was a one off quirk till I read your vitriol about fans of Celitc and Everton. (Im not a Celtic fan) and I realised that your dislike of Coleman contained a healthy amount of anti Irish sentiment.

You're wrong about him. You have been for years.

No, I asked:

I'm also not anti-Irish, I asked us to sign Evan Ferguson for years, how anti-Irish is that?
