ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

"I want to talk about the last game when I saw a dive which 100% should have been a second yellow [for Vinícius Júnior]. I never hear about how many referee decisions have gone against us in the last six or seven weeks.”

I wonder what 'decisions' he's on about. Without a helping hand from refs., liners and VAR they struggle. Slot will find it hard keeping all his new signings, and others happy.

Another piece of self-congratulatory claptrap, this time on Fotmob. On this occasion Szoboszlai, the human Scrabble bonus, is banging on about there being 'a long way to go in the title race yet' as if it's just them and Arsenal involved, and the other four teams ahead of them (plus potentially Bournemouth by tomorrow) are just there inconveniently to confuse things.

My favourite bit though, is this gem: 'Szoboszlai also praised Liverpool's togetherness and determination to bounce back from their recent poor form'

Bounce back? They've won one league game. I mean, they had to win a match at some point in time, it hardly constitutes a remarkable bounce back! They are sixth now, and by tomorrow night could be seventh or eighth. Two weeks ago they were seventh. So yes, 'quite remarkable' (rolls eyes...)

To be fair they absolutely obliterated alonso's real 1-0 too 😄

PGMOL and the PL will have calculated that Arsenal's late slip yesterday opens the door to the resumption of their airlift to another Liverpool title.

Expect some outrageous decisions to go their way today.

It's all choreographed.

The PL is just a fairy story. Anyone believing it's not is in a dreamworld.

The plot is:

Arsenal always the bridesmaids
City the villains on the naughty step
Liverpool emerge with a dynasty - playing Slot-ball in an environment where set-piece football is the norm

Be that as it may, David, I still reckon that City are going to give them a good pasting today.
