It's not a 'multi-functional event venue' - despite what the corporate vermin tell us - it's the home of Everton Football Club: a stadium which will be paid for (every single penny) by Evertonians.

Unless you think we are making a loss on these events, they can only help to improve the profits of the club and allow us to pay off the stadium quicker and not every penny paid for by us. Even without them a portion of the stadium will be paid off by away fans.

No idea - but it's telling that rugby matches allow beer in stands and, here in Germany, beer is allowed in football stadia seats too. I'm not sure I'd argue that the average German football fan is more civilised than his English counterpart. I suspect it is simply a hangover of the past and the demonisation of ALL football fans in England because of the murderous behaviour of some. At Everton, we're used to being tarnished by a broad brush.

It was only a few weeks ago, that he stated, that there`d be fan led protests outside the new ground against the new owners, over something he`d totally made up in his head and then presented it as fact

Who`s arsed about a few lines on a footy pitch, which most people won`t even notice and that`s if this weeks rain hasn`t washed them away too.

The way he bangs on it`s like the fans are a whisker away from an insurrection every week, when the reality it`s just him and his insanity.

It didnt look like they'd been particularly heavy on the paint anyway. Like you say, a good bit of growth and trimming and it'll be barely noticeable

Let's first establish that stadium as:

a) a football stadium

and

b) Everton's football stadium

...before we have a 'facility' almost as well known for putting on rugby games, music concerts, Christmas markets...and probably panto's.....oh yes they will!

I love the stadium, and location, as we now fill town on match-days.

My only gripe, the fan concourses are cold concrete and look unfinished.
