New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

From a Newcastle fanzine. Looks like BMD isn't the only stadium with transport problems
<< The laughably named London Stadium, which cost umpteen times more than the initial estimate, has shocking transport links. Cars are more-or-less banned from its environs. Stratford is the nearest big Tube station, a mile or so distant. The club’s website warns of apocalyptic delays if you head in that direction after the final whistle. London buses? We all know you wait hours for one; then three arrive at once! >>
I stay in Stratford on my work visits because it's so accessible and affordable. Maybe a match day is different.

I would say try and skim it, but its every other post, and than that post gets a response.

One day the forum is enjoyable.
One day it leaves you with a stinking headache.

Plenty of posters on here tho that will keep your belief in people.
Yeah I think the same. It’s gone from a fun place with options to people calling you a name because they don’t agree with what you said.

Never heard one blue say it. Not being arsed about the national team doesn't mean we think we're not English.

Well I do and nearly all my mates do. Until 10 years ago most reds I knew supported England when blues never have and its only the last 10 years theyve started acting that way.

This, from StadiumDB, reckons BMD can get to 62k capacity.

Key bit on that is ‘should legislation allow’.
So they’re assuming a currently ‘illegal’ / non permissible ratio.
Maybe that 62k is the max pack for the space in the concourses and access / egress modelling so the stadium ‘could’ take that number if the legislation permitted. I certainly recall a much higher capacity being intimated if not expressly stated in relation to safe standing ratios

I think that was the line that Chong liked to keep chirping about, "it could" get to 62k if standing laws changed.

The London Stadium is a short walk from Stratford station, one of the best served stations in the city! A quick use of google maps will show that!

Anyone driving a car in London deserves what they get!

Not a chance those concourses are accepting another 10k bodies.
