New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Saturday was a great occasion for the club. It was a success all over. Was it perfect? No. There's still things to work on with the ground both for events like Sat and its primary purpose as the home of the club, but we'll get there. The first season was
always going to be about making adjustments and learning lessons that we can take forward. Yes I've seen some valid criticism of the place and the set-up and I've got one or two myself but some people are just desperately looking for any excuse they can find to bitch over anything and be negative for the sake of it.

Only downsides for me are aramak and the roads outside the ground. Everything else is very impressive.

On the roads, I'm not sure what they're trying to achieve making Great Howard street and derby road one lane, other causing gridlock around the vicinity of the ground. Hopefully, that's one of the things to get reviewed soon.

More coverage of the stadium.

That marketing and digital officer, Aaron Duckmanton, was frightening.

He spoke for 3 minutes and mentioned Everton zero times just obliquely referencing us to say that "the football season window limited the amount of time they can do other things" like Christmas markets, music and other entertainments like dance festivals.

Scott McLeod there too telling fibs about Goodison.

I watched him earlier and was impressed with the copious amount of wordage he burnt through saying nothing.

He also described our south stand home as "an attempt to recreate and emulate some of the biggest Kops in European football".

Honestly, do these people have any feel for 'the product' they push
