Relegation Thread 25-26

If we can’t score goals due to inept strikers then we need to bolt the back door shut, and currently Michael Keane is first name on the team sheet due to the prolonged absence of our best centre back. If you’re not at least slightly considering the possibility that we could be involved in a relegation battle then you are simply deluded. Our summer transfer window was a disaster.

there’s loads of factors mate not getting another striker is 50% of it

but again missing all these chances
is 40%

and the other ten is moyes for sticking to same 11!
It's just not good enough for us to have spent over 100m and look no better than we did last year. And it's not like we were good to start with.

I'm fed up seeing no progress when there's absolutely no excuse any more not to move forward.

All comes back to recruitment. We are totally unable to get it right.

I'm deluded Mike

Looking on the positive side, whatever you might think one way or the other, this thread is giving the tossers lots to toss off about, which has to be good for them. So long of course that they don't inadvertently damage themselves and end up needing treatment mental or otherwise. West Ham's win will have sent them into paroxysmal torment, or maybe ecstasy, which may reach a climax tomorrow night.

This is how i think games have gone for me

Should have beat Villa
should have beat West Ham - then lucky in the end to draw
Lucky not to be behind v Brighton before we took lead and won
Palace should have been out of sight before we scored
Liverpool we didnt start for a while and should/could have drew
City, we could have went ahead - who knows if we could have got a point if we did
Wolves we should have won by way more than we did
Leeds think it should have ended 0-0
spurs last week, we could have had 3/4 goals

We've not played well across 90 minutes in any of those games

so we weren’t good then summer we’ve spent 100 mill so we should be good?

have you not seen how many chances we’ve missed?

if you can’t see an improvement although results so far ( for not scoring don’t show it )

your mad.

ye they should of got full backs and a striker i agree

plus we’ve had one window.

A couple of wins changes a lot quickly. I just don't think we are playing well enough consistently enough for that to happen.

Even when we play well, it's for the odd 30 minutes or a half. This season we have not put full matches together. Even the Brighton and Palace wins we had to ride our luck before having better second halfs.

Until I see us playing better then I'm going to be concerned, because I don't think the players we signed were good signings.
