You just won’t ever give it up

I cant agree. What's the point if that's what we 'want'...
We support a football team because of their identity and their history and our investment into those things.
If it's all just about inhabiting a corporate 'facility' and getting cash in to pay down debt and have no firm identity at that stadium then that is a massive problem for me.
We are diminished. And tbh - as much as I'm a fan of the stadium and its location - we are estranged from this club like we could never be at Goodison.
Dave you didn't even go to the old stadium let alone the new one.I cant agree. What's the point if that's what we 'want'...

You mean there's a chance?I Just asked AI to advise our chances of winning the league in the next 30 years. They advised 1-2% is it really worth bothering![]()
If we'd secured our identity at this place already as the club who are synonymous with it then events like today could be tolerated. However, we are still struggling to make the transition in terms of that new stadium. How does it help our identity leaving it idle for a spare weekend - that doesn't make sense mate.
Is it more Everton if nothing happens in it today.............

We know we play there and our fans have settled into the infrastructure and buy into it, but the wider world see H*** D******** Stadium - a sporting (and soon musical) facillty in Liverpool's dockland.
The stadium will be associated with football once we put an exciting, attractive, and successful team into in wearing blue and white rather than the regressive, constipated dross that currently passes for a side.If we'd secured our identity at this place already as the club who are synonymous with it then events like today could be tolerated. How can they see it otherwise when 'Everton isn't even inside or outside the ground and we have commentators talking about 'coming live from Liverpool'.Have you done a survey mate.

They'll flip the club within five years.Exactly. Which isn't anytime soon.
In the meantime it is unbelievable that our club have signed up to a deal that keeps OUR NAME from being mentioned in OUR stadium.

It's an issue. Everyone knows it is.
