i would be wanting a 'project striker' but right now I'd take someone like Toney or Richarlison to make an instant impact.

I still have hopes for Evan Ferguson, but he's yet to score for Roma despite the manager preferring him to the highly rated Dobvyk

I also imagine Liam Delap (we would have a good few more points on the board if we had managed to convince him to sign) will be available either on loan or to buy next summer

Hindsight is 20-20 and all that jazz.... but I'm genuinely gutted now that we didn't stump up the money for Woltemade.

Think people mostly could see he was the pick of the bunch in summer, I certainly thought so.

Could never have afforded the fee they paid unfortunately with the amount of players needed.

I think thats a fair assessment.

Though there have been players linked to champions league sides season after season and either bids werent made or deals didnt go through.

At this point, I think Moyes will be demanding "big money" is spent on a CF. In his first spell he spent what we considered big money on Beattie, Yakubu and Johnson.

I could see Beto being sold and a lot spent on a centre forward.

Whoever it is they'll get moaned at aswell, we had Lukaku scoring goals for us and some fans used to call him lazy, trampoline shins, or moan that he only scored pointless goals. Weird
