2025/26 David Moyes

Whats his gameplan when things aren't going well? Sub one crap striker for another. No change in tactics or anything.

He's a dinosaur in a modern game. Was an antidote to an even worse dinosaur in Dyche but ultimately we need a progressive manager.

Don't think we've played well at the new ground yet and Moyes's home record was poor last season but good away.

Is there any scope for him to play a different formation? Seems pretty clear that his 4-2-3-1 has now been nullified pretty comprehensively.

We came 4th playing 4141 with Carsley sitting and Gravesen and Cahill pushing on as the 8s. He then changed the season after to 4231 and has never ever played anything else at Everton since. In Garner Gana and KDH we don’t have a 10 and we don’t have two midfielders who can play in a double pivot.

Question for those revelling at the moment, do you want this club to have stability or just keep jumping on and off the merry go round every 6-12 months?
The club doesn't need stability. We've dome nothing for decades. We need urgency to get better and far better plans on how to improve.

I dont believe in what we are doing on the pitch or off the field in recruitment.

The system is less the issue than passing the ball about a lot quicker to catch opponents out of position...and we have them out of position a lot given that both Grealish and Ndiaye have 2 or 3 on them.

That said, there's much more than that wrong with this team.

My frustration with him is he continues to pick the same players regardless of form. His substitutions are too late. Everything is predictable from him.
